Red Dead Redemption Finally Hits PC on October 29

It’s been a long road, but the original Red Dead Redemption, alongside its Undead Nightmare expansion, is coming to PC on October 29th.

The port’s existence was leaked by the Sony PlayStation Store back in August, but official confirmation only arrived today, as Rockstar posted a fairly detailed page revealing all the information we could want about this open world Western’s much-awaited PC release. Double Eleven, the same developers who collaborated with Rockstar to create last year’s console re-releases, are back for the PC version, and the game comes with a host of PC-specific improvements, including Ultrawide/Super Ultrawide monitor support, native 4k resolutions at up to 144hz, HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. Performance enthusiasts will also be happy to learn that both Nvidia DLSS 3.0 and AMD FSR 3.0 are supported, with the Nvidia option also providing Frame Generation on supported videocards. Obviously the PC port also comes with adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings and more options to tinker with.
