In a world where dragons were hunted to extinction by humans, the Sword Saint’s disciple, Reiri, was still haunted by a nightmare from 15 years ago. Fantastic worldbuilding and plot. beyond any expectations. I would absolutely help the creator if I had more cash. eagerly awaiting their upcoming match. There is just one issue. I think the designer has paid a bit too little attention to the weaponry and attire. I mean, some folks wish to go on a virgin run. Additionally, not all creatures are listed in the monster dictionary because of a problem.
Additionally, there are occasionally some translation issues. Additionally, it would have been wonderful to have had another menstrual mechanism. The game is fantastic in spite of this. The next time the developer releases a new game, hopefully, I’ll be able to help them. The game features seamless fighting, entertaining characters, and a good plot. Although the size may be too much for some, the artwork and computer graphics are excellent.
Features and System Requirements:
Features skill points and equipment upgrades, allowing players to customize their Dragonborn warrior and select a unique dragon companion.
Presents a strong narrative where players uncover family secrets, form alliances, and make ethical choices that influence the game’s plot.
Boasts impressive graphics with refined character designs and grand landscapes, enhancing the immersive experience.

Graphics cards are apparently just getting bigger and bigger, and the Nvidia RTX 5090 might just be the most power-hungry mainstream graphics card of the last decade, at a reported 575 W TDP.
Over on X, leaker hongxing2020 reported the power consumption of the RTX 5090 in a cryptic tweet, and well-regarded leaker kopite7kimi replied to this with “and RTX 5080 360 W.” These tweets were originally spotted and reported on by Videocardz.
To put this power consumption into perspective, the RTX 4090 has a TDP of 450 W, so the 50 series iteration has an increase of 125W. That’s a power inflation of just shy of 30%. Interestingly, the 21,600 CUDA cores reported in the 5090 is also just over a 30% bump from the 16,000 present in the 4090 card. Previously, this was rumoured to be 600 W and the specific figure could suggest that Nvidia has finally locked in a number, perhaps for communication at CES 2025 next week.
For the RTX 5080, this would be an increase of just 40 W, from the 320 W seen in the RTX 4080 graphics card. This was previously rumoured to be 400 W so both cards are a little lower than expected.
Both cards use GDDR7, which is less power intensive than the GDDR6X seen in the 40 series, which suggests that extra power efficiency is being used elsewhere. However, there’s not much more we can say about the first outing of Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture as of right now, without getting the specifics of the cards. We know that extra power draw is indicative of more power from the cards themselves, and can expect a healthy bump in performance, as you would from any further iteration from Nvidia, but we can’t suggest fully what that looks like from just the TDP.
However, what we can say from this is that you may need a power supply upgrade if you haven’t had one in a few years. In November, Corsair announced that some of its PSU line supports next-generation graphics cards, which not only says something about the total power draw of next-generation rigs but that the connector will stay the same too.
At the start of the 40-series launch, 12VHPWR connectors were causing faults in the most powerful cards so Corsair’s confidence implies it will have tested out whatever Nvidia is cooking up with its power supplies. If you want a monstrous RTX 5090-equipped rig, you will likely need an equally monstrous power supply to support it, even if it’s a little less power-hungry than initially thought.

Use our hint for today’s Wordle if you’re running out of rows and really need to start finding some green letters quick. Or use it to give you the best possible start, a springboard for every guess that comes afterwards. And don’t worry if it’s not working out the way you hoped, because the answer to the January 2 (1293) Wordle’s ready whenever you are.
I built today’s answer up the wrong way around, every new green showing up on the right hand side of the row, and slowly building towards the left. It all worked out for me in the end, but it never stopped feeling weird, like I was doing something I shouldn’t. I’m glad I won, but I’m also hoping tomorrow’s Wordle doesn’t make me solve it in reverse—once a week is more than enough for me.

Wordle presents you with six rows of five boxes every day and the aim is to figure out the correct five-letter word by entering guesses and eliminating or confirming individual letters.
Getting off to a good start with a strong word like ARISE—something containing multiple vowels, common consonants, and no repeat letters—is a good tactic. Once you hit Enter, the boxes will show you which letters you’ve got right or wrong. If a box turns ⬛️, it means that letter isn’t in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word, but not in that position. 🟩 means you’ve got the right letter in the right spot.
Your second guess should compliment the starting word, using another “good” word to cover any common letters you missed last time while also trying to avoid any letter you now know for a fact isn’t present in today’s answer. With a bit of luck, you should have some coloured squares to work with and set you on the right path.
After that, it’s just a case of using what you’ve learned to narrow your guesses down to the right word. You have six tries in total and can only use real words (so no filling the boxes with EEEEE to see if there’s an E). Don’t forget letters can repeat too (ex: BOOKS).
If you need any further advice feel free to check out our Wordle tips, and if you’d like to find out which words have already been used, you can scroll to the relevant section above.
Originally, Wordle was dreamed up by software engineer Josh Wardle, as a surprise for his partner who loves word games. From there it spread to his family, and finally got released to the public. The word puzzle game has since inspired tons of games like Wordle, refocusing the daily gimmick around music or math or geography. It wasn’t long before Wordle became so popular it was sold to the New York Times for seven figures. Surely it’s only a matter of time before we all solely communicate in tricolor boxes.
Playing Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project is like digging up a time capsule with buried treasures only to find out what people in the past considered valuable is now garbage. Unlike the popular Duke Nukem 3D, Manhattan Project is not a FPS. Instead what you get for your hard-earned cash is a poorly-aged side-scrolling shooter originally released in 2002, with all the mediocre 3D graphics we used to kind of think were awesome. Even worse are Duke’s animations, which give off the vague implication that Duke’s been shoving his foot up his own ass instead of those of his foes. Yeah, Manhattan Project is ugly, but that wouldn’t be a big deal if it were fun. It’s not. Summer Games Challenge
Each level of the game boils down to finding a bomb (wrapped, of course, around a woman with gigantic breasts), finding a key, and shooting a few enemies along the way. Combat is boring, usually boiling down to just firing periodically at the edge of the screen (though you can’t fire at angles, only horizontally and vertically). The only real exceptions to this are boss fights, which occur after every few stages and mostly require you to simply fire at one weak spot a lot. How exciting. Maybe this repetitive level design was passable at the turn of the millennia, but it’s downright mind-numbing now.
Features and System Requirements:
The game blends traditional platforming elements with modern 3D graphics.
Battle a range of mutated foes, including Pig Cops, Gator Grunts, and other bizarre creations. Enemies are rendered in full 3D for a modern touch.
Collect items and secrets for higher scores and rewards.

Technically, I wasn’t short of help today. I had an OK start, and a decent amount of yellow letters on my second go. The only tiny problem was I couldn’t work out what the heck to do with any of them. That letter goes there? No, that can’t be right. I wasted a lot of time avoiding the right word today, and I’m annoyed at myself for it.

Wordle gives you six rows of five boxes each day, and it’s up to you to work out which five-letter word is hiding among them to win the popular daily puzzle.
It’s usually a good plan to start with a strong word like ALERT—or any other word with a good mix of common consonants and multiple vowels—and you should be off to a flying start, with a little luck anyway. You should also avoid starting words with repeating letters, so you don’t waste the chance to confirm or eliminate an extra letter. Once you hit Enter, you’ll see which letters you’ve got right or wrong. If a box turns ⬛️, it means that letter isn’t in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word, but not in that position. 🟩 means you’ve got the right letter in the right spot.
Your second guess should compliment the first, using another “good” word to cover any common letters you might have missed on the first row—just don’t forget to leave out any letter you now know for a fact isn’t present in today’s answer. After that, it’s just a case of using what you’ve learned to narrow your guesses down to the correct word. I’m forever espousing the benefits of a good microphone. It’s one of those things that you don’t think you need until you try one for yourself, or hear an awful one over voice chat and realise what a terrible curse bad audio is on the people that have to listen to you on the daily.
Many microphones have passed our desks this year, and many have failed to meet the mark. But a precious few have stood head and shoulders above the rest, so we’ve gathered together the top three, thrown them into the ring, and let them bash their little pop-filters against each other until a clear winner remains.
First across the ropes are two exceptionally good units from Shure, a tried and tested name in the audio world that’s made serious inroads into gaming and streaming mics this year. The Shure MV6 is a desktop mic with a difference, thanks to its excellent capture at range, solid build quality, and a mini mic stand that looks like it came straight off the stage at your local venue.
Then there’s the Shure MV7+, a refinement of a classic that leaves just about all other podcast microphones in the dust. It’s a multi-talented marvel, however, and makes a compelling case for itself as a podcast mic, a streaming mic, or really any other vocal-capturing duties you can think of. Point it at its target and off it goes, swinging for the rafters.
But what’s this? A SteelSeries usurper? Yep, the SteelSeries Alias Pro kit includes a great mic, but it’s the whole package that makes this a worthy contender for the crown. It’s got a powerful preamp hidden in its Stream Mixer interface, along with programmable dials and buttons that really do make capturing and streaming audio simple.
So who will triumph? Cast your eyes over our contenders below.
Best microphone 2024: the nominees
The winner of the PC Gamer Hardware Award for the best microphone of 2024 will be announced on New Year’s Eve. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it? Make sure you check in with us then to find out the eventual result.
