Samsung has revealed its latest lineup of Galaxy Book laptops at CES 2025, in the form of the Galaxy Book5 Pro and Galaxy Book5 360 models. These devices will run on Intel’s Arrow Lake Core Ultra processors. That means they’ll support all of Microsoft’s Copilot+ features.
The Galaxy Book5 Pro comes in 16-inch and 14-inch variants, both with a 2,880 x 1,800 OLED touchscreen at a 120Hz variable refresh rate. Inside, you get Intel Core Ultra 7 “Evo” processors (standard in 16-inch model), options for 16GB or 32GB of RAM, and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.
The 16-inch model is 0.49 inches (12.5mm) thick and weighs 3.44 pounds, offering an estimated 25 hours of video playback battery life. The 14-inch version is slightly thinner at 0.46 inches (11.7mm), weighs 2.71 pounds, and provides an estimated 21 hours of video playback.
The Galaxy Book5 360 will come with a 15.6-inch OLED touch display with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, an Intel Core Ultra 5 “Evo” chip in its base configuration, 16GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB storage options, and an estimated 31 hours of video playback.

There are going to be some allegedly amazing AI features on these devices, like AI Select, Samsung’s equivalent to Google’s Circle to Search. This will help users select an area on the screen for instant search results. Photo upscaling, an on-device feature that can sharpen details and improve blurry images, will also be available. This feature uses Intel’s NPU, which can process AI tasks at up to 47 trillion operations per second (TOPS).
Samsung has announced that all three Galaxy Book5 models will be available in February in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, and France, as reported by Engadget. Pricing details and retail partner information are expected to be released soon.
