Given the fact that this website is quite literally a one man band there is absolutely no way I can keep up with the camera market.
That’s why you don’t see any camera reviews or even all that much camera news here… its just all a bit much for little ol’ me!
Anyhoo, what I do know are a few pretty good sources for that kind of thing and one of them is the crew at Think Media.
Recently they covered some choices for cameras or “devices” suitable for Vlogging in the present market.
If you are looking for something like that then this would be a good start.
IsoBuster 5.8 Released
Good news from Peter at Isobuster for this week with the release of Isobuster 5.8.
If you are not familiar with it, this is my absolute “go to” software for file recovery from just about any form of media going.
I originally started using it years ago for CD and DVD files recovery but since then Peter has expanded the capabilities of it way beyond those early days.
These days it can deal with all forms of optical disc, flash media, hard drives, SSDs and disc image files which in itself is astounding given the vast range of variations that are used for those items.
Sketch Animation in PowerDirector
Sketch Animations is a feature in CyberLink PowerDirector that many users probably overlook.
I would say the reason for this is that like many features, unless you have already seen it in action, you just never think of it as a possibility.
So here’s a demonstration in PowerDirector of just one way that you can use this feature to enhance an existing title or written instruction.
Edit Videos Faster with AI (Filmora Speed Editing Guide)
If you have been following along with the Friday Roundup over the past few years you would know that I am quite specific in how I approach A.I. and video editing.
Originally I pretty much dismissed it as it was largely useless in the overall task of editing.
Its main value was to make cool looking stuff for the marketing department so that people would buy software!
As far as actually using it went… not much use at all!
However over time as the A.I. models have developed we now have a decent set of tools to make editing easier faster.
What we don’t have is a replacement for you and I getting an idea, shooting the majority of footage for that idea and editing it into a watchable video.
Here’s a look at using A.I as a tool in Filmora and not an end unto itself.
How to Film YouTube Videos on Your Phone (Start to Finish)
When I was first roped into becoming the official videographer in my family, the gear available to me was pretty basic.
I did OK with that level of stuff for quite a while until my brother-in-law decided to conspire with my wife to make my life hell.
I guess they thought I was getting just a little too comfortable so he convinced my wife that the way to improve the videos we were making was to buy a good camera.
Until then I had been using a Samsung phone for all the shooting that needed to be done.
Two years later I am now very, very well educated thanks to YouTube on dealing with the intricacies of shooting with my Sony ZV-E10!
Unfortunately through that process of learning, I have discovered that the problem was never the phone!
The actual problem was that I wasn’t using the phone as well as it could be used.
So in the spirit of not making your life miserable, here’s a full start to finish rundown on how to use a smartphone to shoot quality video.
How to Create Cinematic A.I. Transitions
This is a great introduction into using A.I to produce assets that are tailor-made for your projects.
The example used here is the creation of transitions but it doesn’t have to stop there.
Now be warned, this video uses a number of A.I. models that are in the “paid for” category but that doesn’t mean you have to use those ones exclusively.
The important point here is the work flow, what you need to provide to the A.I. model and most importantly, the prompt you write to get it to do what you want.
Tom Antos Creates a Disaster Scene With a Leaf blower and AI!
It’s been a while since I added anything from Tom Antos the reason being that his output dropped for a long time because he has been making movies!
I’m sure he feels that’s good for him but personally I think it’s a bit selfish really.
Anyway I wanted to post this one because it is a great insight into how at a professional level, A.I. is viewed.
As you watch the video which is pretty cool in itself, notice that Tom mentions two main concerns or cautions using A.I.
First is that his own creativity is not usurped by the use of A.I and a second point which is more of an ethical argument.
He actually says a few time that he wants to direct the A.I. based on his own ideas and creativity rather than letting the A.I. model base it results on the work of others.
A Teleprompter Setup with a Twist
This is an interesting take on doing live presentations especially those where you have one or more people Zooming or using OBS in on a call.
The difficulty in that scenario is that the audience will show on a computer monitor to the side while your camera will usually be setup directly in front of you.
That results in your eyes constantly making and breaking contact with the audience each time you look at the monitor then back at the camera.
The solution to this given in the video you can see below completely solves that problem but of course comes at a cost.
I think he mentions that the prompter he uses comes in at around U.S. $300 because it includes a small monitor screen as well, which is pricey unless this is your livelihood.
However the entire thing got me thinking and I realized you don’t need to go that crazy!
If you have a one of those teleprompters that mounts in front of your camera or phone then you are off to a good start!
If not you can always get one and they are quite cheap like this one HERE.
At least look for something that will accommodate a small tablet sized remote screen.
Then look for a cheap camera monitor that takes HDMI connection like this one HERE.
That’s the camera monitor I use and it suits this purpose perfectly.
The fact that it connects by HDMI means you can add it as a second monitor to your computer, mount it on the teleprompter and you have effectively reproduced what’s in the video for about $200 less.
Negative Space: The Key to Cinematic Composition
No I haven’t lost my mind and have become so deluded that I think I am talking to a bunch of fully pro cinematographers on this site!
The video below explores and explains the use of negative space in cinema and the effect it has on scenes and subsequently the audience.
You and I will not be shooting vast landscapes with the tiny figure of our protagonist located somewhere in the void BUT!
What this does teach us from our point of view is that it is not necessary to fill our frames with unnecessary clutter just for the sake of filling it!

You ask Copilot to tackle something big, it gets to work, and a dozen file changes later you realize you had a completely different approach in mind. The code isn’t wrong… it just isn’t what you were going for.
Last year, we introduced planning as a feature in Agent mode to help with exactly this. Since then, you’ve told us you wanted more control over when planning happens, the ability to edit plans directly, and a way to save and share them. Your feedback shaped what came next: the new Plan agent.
Instead of jumping straight into implementation, the Plan agent starts with a deeper understanding of what you’re trying to build: asking questions, clarifying your intent, and enabling you to iterate on the plan before making a single change.
How it works
Here’s how it works:
Select the Plan agent and describe what you want to build — Choose Plan from the agent picker in Copilot Chat, then tell Copilot what you’re trying to do. You can be as broad as “add authentication to this app” or as specific as “refactor the payment module to support multiple providers.” The more context you give, the better the plan.
Explore and clarify — Copilot scans your codebase using read-only tools and asks clarifying questions when something is ambiguous. Answer these to help Copilot understand what you’re going for. For straightforward tasks, it moves straight to drafting.
Draft and refine — Copilot creates a detailed implementation plan you can review together. Ask it to rethink an approach, add edge cases, split a step into smaller pieces, or reconsider which files to touch.
Edit the plan directly — Every plan is saved as a markdown file at .copilot/plans/plan-{title}.md. Edit it in your editor, refine it through chat, or share it with your team for review. Copilot picks up your changes and keeps everything in sync.
Implement — When you’re satisfied, click Implement plan to hand it off to Agent mode to build. No code changes happen until you say so. Copilot works through the plan step by step, creating and editing files while you watch the progress in real time.
Try it today
The Plan agent helps you figure out what to build before you start building it. Give it a try on your next feature or refactoring task, and let us know how it goes!

Google announced that it’s opening Gemini for Home’s doors to service providers, hardware makers, and more.
A major highlight is its new Gemini built-in program, which targets partners who are creating hardware for consumers, so they can leverage Gemini’s capabilities for their speakers and cameras.
Google is also integrating its Home Premium subscription with carriers, ISPs, and security companies.
I/O has given us a lot to go over this week; however, Google’s smart home sector isn’t quite done, as it announces a major step for Gemini.
Google states in a press release that it has opened up Gemini for Home into a “full-stack AI offering.” This sounds technical, but all it means is that Google is “empowering service providers and hardware manufacturers to create monetizable, proactive services for customers and their homes.” A developers post shared more, announcing the start of the “Google Home Gemini built-in” program.
Android Central’s Take
The Gemini built-in program is a huge part of Google’s announcement today. This is basically opening its Gemini doors to other companies—think third-party device makers. Now, Gemini isn’t so restricted. These other companies can partner with Google and begin bringing that same, high-quality AI assistance to even more people through their products. This doesn’t sound like a bad thing to me.
This is targeting Google’s partners who create smart home hardware for consumers. Google states hardware makers won’t have to stress about the research; they need only “focus on delivering an exceptional service experience.” Through the “Gemini built in” program, companies can create and launch Gemini-capable smart cameras, thanks to Google’s Camera Reference Design. Moreover, makers can now leverage the full force of Gemini’s voice capabilities for smart speakers in 2026.

Similarly, we have what Google is doing with service providers, like AT&T. The company says it is integrating its Google Home Premium subscription plan with carriers, ISPs, and security companies. This brings in daily household features, such as Home Brief: a daily roundup of what’s gone on around your home. “Advanced deterrence” methods are also included, letting users make it appear as though they’re home for extra home protection.
Companies will also benefit from better protection for smart cameras. This technology makes cameras smarter, so they only alert you to the important things: deliveries, someone at the door, etc. Google says AT&T is spearheading this movement, using Home’s APIs and Gemini in its Connect Life app and security services.
Gemini arrives for more people & devices

This announcement for a better, smarter home for consumers that companies can leverage includes Gemini for Home’s availability for developers. These are a set of tools that developers can utilize to begin creating for their ecosystems and consumers. Many of these features we’re already privy to. Google highlights Home Brief and Ask Home as “core capabilities.”
Smart cameras have been upgraded for Google Home. These keen eyes around the home can “see” what’s happening. This lets them “describe” what’s going on, so the homeowner is well-informed, instead of delivering generic responses like before.

Google’s update for smarter cameras arrived earlier this month. A major part of that update was what the company highlighted today: AI. Combined with its software, cameras could “see” and describe to the homeowner what was going on for the full story. Google also rolled out skip buttons to jump through clips and a new option to help swipe between views. Users should also know that the Event feeds got a visual boost, too.
Clearer, zoomed previews help you focus on the action for a particular clip (event). Additionally, users can filter out these events based on “person seen” or “glass break.”
Waymo has now paused service in four cities because its robotaxis are struggling to deal with heavy rain and flooded roads, a problem that already prompted the company to issue a recall last week.
One of Waymo’s robotaxis was spotted driving through a flooded street in Atlanta, Georgia, on Wednesday before it ultimately got stuck for about an hour, according to local news reports. The vehicle was recovered and removed from the scene, Waymo told TechCrunch. Waymo says it paused service in the city, just like it has in San Antonio, Texas, while it figures out a solution.
“Safety is Waymo’s top priority, both for our riders and everyone we share the road with. During a period of intense rain yesterday in Atlanta, an unoccupied Waymo vehicle encountered a flooded road and stopped,” the company said in a statement.
Waymo also halted service in Dallas and Houston because of severe weather across Texas this week, the company confirmed to TechCrunch late Thursday. The expansion was first reported by Bloomberg News.
A Waymo spokesperson said the company also paused service in Dallas and Houston out of an abundance of caution for the forecasted severe weather.
Waymo admitted that it hadn’t finished developing a “final remedy” for avoiding flooded areas when it issued its software recall last week. Instead, the company said that it shipped an update to its fleet that placed “restrictions at times and in locations where there is an elevated risk of encountering a flooded, higher-speed roadway,” according to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
But even those precautions apparently were not enough to stop the Waymo robotaxi from entering a flooded intersection in Atlanta. Waymo told TechCrunch on Thursday that the storm in Atlanta produced so much rainfall that flooding was happening before the National Weather Service had issued a flash flood warning, watch, or advisory. The company said those alerts are part of a larger set of signals it relies on to prepare the vehicles for poor weather.
“NHTSA is aware of this incident, is in communication with Waymo, and will take appropriate action if necessary,” a spokesperson for the safety regulator told TechCrunch regarding the robotaxi that got stuck in Atlanta.
This is not the first time Waymo has struggled to quickly stamp out problematic behavior with its robotaxis. When people started to notice Waymo robotaxis illegally passing stopped school buses last year, the company shipped a fix that was supposed to address the issue — only for its fleet to continue making illegal maneuvers around school buses.
Waymo’s behavior around school buses is at the center of one of two sets of active investigations into the company.
Both the NHTSA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are looking into this problem. Waymo has already produced a batch of documents for the NHTSA, all of which were redacted to the public. On May 15, the NHTSA sent a second document request to Waymo because the company’s initial response “necessitates that [NHTSA] receive further data and information.”
The other set of investigations from the NHTSA and NTSB involve a January 23 incident where a Waymo robotaxi crashed into a child in Santa Monica, California. Waymo has said that its robotaxi braked to around six miles per hour before it struck that child and that she suffered minor injuries.
This story has been updated with more information about how Waymo uses National Weather Service alerts, and to include new service pauses in Houston and Dallas.

Tech giants Google, Meta, and TikTok are facing European scrutiny for their alleged role in a growing number of financial scams targeting users.
The three companies are accused of failing to proactively remove fraudulent ads from their platforms and notify users in an appropriate manner, outlined in complaints filed to regulators by the European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) and 29 of its members in 27 European countries, Reuters reported.
The consumer group flagged 900 ads that they deemed violated EU laws, but said that only 27 percent of those ads were removed by platforms. More than half of the reports were rejected or ignored.
The complaints were submitted under the EU’s Digital Services Act, and regulators could levy hefty fines if the companies are found in violation.
Mashable Light Speed
“We strictly enforce our ad policies, blocking over 99% of violating ads before they ever run. Our teams constantly update these defenses to stay ahead of scammers and protect people,” a Google spokesperson said in comment to the press.
“We invest in advanced AI, tools, and partnerships to stop them. Last year we found and removed over 159 million scam ads, 92% before anyone reported them to us,” Meta responded.
Meta was recently accused of making tens of millions of dollars off of scam ads targeting older Americans and Medicare recipients. Last year, a Reuters investigation found that Meta made billions from fraudulent ads, also referred to as “high risk” advertising. AI-powered scams are proliferating across platforms, including Google-owned YouTube and TikTok.
South Korean chip giant Samsung Electronics has reached an agreement with its labour union, mere hours before workers were due to begin an 18-day strike. The planned action was due to be taken today, Wednesday, May 21, but the union has agreed to suspend the strike and put a new proposal to an internal vote.
Details of the terms of the proposal are yet to be revealed, but the union previously pushed for Samsung to allocate 15% of its annual operating profits to employee bonuses (via Tom’s Hardware). The union also proposed the scrapping of a 50% annual salary cap on performance pay-outs.
The marches are believed to have been prompted by similar demands made by the SK hynix labour and management union, which led to wage increases and a removal of the cap on performance-based bonuses for employees earlier this year.
As such, Samsung employees were said to be leaving for SK hynix in large numbers, or taking to the streets to voice their displeasure.
Samsung had reportedly argued that previous union demands would give excessive rewards to loss-making units, due to the differences between its memory division, currently prospering during the AI boom, and its other operations. It’s unclear if proposals made in the new deal would attempt to address a balance between those two factors in terms of employee remuneration, but it’s encouraging news for Samsung factory workers, at the very least.
Reports indicate that Samsung had begun winding down chip production in preparation for the strike, with potential indirect losses estimated to be in the billions if the planned action went ahead.
Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.
For now, the strike is suspended—and union voting on Samsung’s new proposal is expected to be carried out over the next week. Here’s hoping for a satisfactory result for all parties involved.
It appears that product development is at a stage and at a time that is so image and so technologically driven that it would appear that the napkin sketch would be worth so much less than it once would have. Yet it would appear that it is at precisely this stage that the next generation designs would have so much more definition, so much more precision, so much more sophistication, so much more detailed work that there would be no room for error. It would be here that a 3D CAD modeling solution would want to have so much confidence and so much enthusiasm that they could develop an idea, no matter if it were fuzzy, into something your whole organization would be happy with.
How you carry out 3D CAD modeling effectively is definitely not an “oh wow” thing that your competitors would be so envious they would be itching to demonstrate at a business presentation as if they are on the precipice. A 3D CAD model, on the contrary, signifies exactly the spine of an optimized process itself. It will enable your project members to conceptualize with a clear intention and communicate without being caught up in understanding discrepancies created using scribbled-out sketches on a piece of paper. That, my friend, clearly signifies an effortless glide from conceptualizing to completion without a hitch.
Give it a chance, and it will soon turn out to be your new best pal if your project serves as a productivity supercharger and astonishes your client before they might have even posed an inquiry. Sites like Cad Crowd are there so that you can get your own freelance 3D CAD modeling artists who not only have a great knowledge base about things they are talking about with regards to accuracy. These people will bring their own knowledge base with them into your own projects without your having to hire an entire staff. Companies will no doubt let out a collective breath at this alone.
So, let us start an exploration on how the proper 3D CAD modeling software solution can help your business succeed with your designs within today’s competitive market.
🚀 Table of contents
Intelligence-assisted visualization for all phases of development improvement
Nevertheless, there is something magical about seeing an idea develop out of a conception on a piece of paper and develop into something three-dimensional and optimal. It somehow becomes more feasible and possible with unlimited opportunities waiting to be discovered. The accuracy and precision that you receive with 3D CAD design services enable your design team to have designs conceived at a size scale that might have been impractical with conventional designs. You have perspective, size, scale, proportion, and even a sense.
Just consider having an idea for the very first time for a client or some executives at your own organization. You might be standing there with some 2D sketches on a board and hoping that everyone who understands it would be viewing it exactly the same as you. But with a 3D model with exactly what you want to build and giving you the functionality to pan, zoom, and rotate it from any side, you’re answering questions before people even have a chance to ask. That helps people who have to sign things off because they’re viewing it and having to picture what it might look like.
The reward for this will be enormous and will be achieved as you develop your designs. Your whole team will be aware of what needs to be done. You will be able to mess around with designs without having to rip apart your prototypes or even focus on designs that are brand new. It will be easier and more collaborative, as everyone will be viewing things from the same perspective, making your designs appear convenient.
But then again, if your business has ever had to deal with the presence of error measurement or with the sly short hoodlum named Misunderstanding lurking about, then it will all be up to 3D CAD modeling with its accuracy. The accuracy that is required and necessary for your business, and that your business can put stock in and trust and believe with regard to precision, will be there with 3D CAD modeling. There are no guesses as to anything being too general.
Accuracy will be your basis for designs. The error will be so small. The unexpected surprises will never be a surprise for production. Production will never be caught off guard. Prototypes will never be distorted or incompatible with systems. Engineering design experts will never be put into a position to have to hold everything back because they’re correcting something they could have very well prevented.
And all these with precision on this scale will be the challenge for industries as complex as your auto, aerospace, robotics, medical, and architectural industries. It will be your products with detailed components with specific safety needs that will make up your 3D CAD models. You will no longer have to wait on tenterhooks as you make your submissions for production because you will be aware that all the minute details were stipulated.
But if it’s not something your business already has an area for and designs with CAD skills commensurate with your industry, then Cad Crowd will be providing your business with extremely skilled professionals competent enough to provide your models with accuracy levels commensurate with your industry.
All departments will work seamlessly
A design will never be solo. It requires multiple teams for something as elementary as an article or an object. Engineering requires an approval check on feasibility, Marketing requires an approval check on designs, Production requires an approval check on production, and then an approval check on cost at the management level; it becomes a Telephone game without an instrument that can amplify all requests.
A correct 3D CAD model does not have these hurdles because there is a common goal that everyone can relate to. All communications are done within a universal language and without misunderstandings between 3D modeling design services. You will not be writing an email about changes and your colleagues pointing at a correct 3D model and talking about changes with reference to some components.
It will remove friction with communications so that collaboration will be an even better experience. The reviews for designs will occur within shorter periods because, believe it or not, there will be a better communications tool that will replace a document with pages and pages. The engineers will be able to spot regions with problems with structures. The designers will be able to create surfaces without creating problems with functionality.
The more your business requires specific 3D CAD modeling, the easier collaboration becomes. The feelings of understanding that result from a smooth workflow make it possible for a much higher level of collaboration and tension release that arises with completing a difficult project.
Enable quicker iteration and save time with a focus on encouraging innovation
Speed is a trait that truly requires a lot and is very necessary for competitive business. Those who will be able to sustain an extremely high speed from conceptual stages to approval will certainly have an edge. However, then every stage will be an enormous task, and it might be quite tough. You will be able to attain rapid product cycles with the proper 3D CAD modeling because your group will be working on a copy and making changes to something that already exists, instead of doing everything again and again.
Regarding things like some form of change on the client’s side, there are some changes that occur effortlessly. Due to some form of error noticed within some designs by 3D modeling design experts, some changes will be incorporated without having to start from scratch. Assuming your employees are interested in some designs, then accuracy within 3D CAD modeling will have you testing some routes without excessive investment in your schedules.
It promotes creativity
The justification for this is that, because it would be easy to modify, there would be confidence in making statements about very large designs. Even without physically prototyping, it would be possible for engineers to analyze various performances. It would make everyone in the community inventive because it would be cheaper to research designs.
However, things escalate even more into higher gear within an uninterrupted iteration process among various companies that have engaged with freelance professionals on relevant 3D CAD modeling. Cad Crowd helps you source experts with knowledge on rapid iteration and executing changes at an unimaginably fast rate. Productivity will increase as your company will be capable of producing results out of this world at unbelievably short times.
Evidently, amongst perhaps some of the most encouraging benefits of an exact 3D CAD modeling process would be its economy. It truly is an undeniable fact that problems discovered at an early stage cost less compared to problems detected at a production stage. A tiny miscalculation made at an unnoticed modeling stage can turn out to be an economic headache at the ordering and production stage. It will allow your project participants, even engineering design services, to identify problems before they turn into disasters. You will be able to concentrate on your project and review it if necessary before checking for compatibility.
It will be your first line of defense against project failures because you employ 3D CAD modeling software. Both industries are pleased with the exact model due to its immense benefits. The industry will be able to check at once if it suits them. A disadvantage will be removed because they will have an easier chance of finding an approximate cost estimate. A timetable with high accuracy will be created. It would be very useful and advantageous for your business budgeting if there were a model that would enable verification of information, so that your business budgeting would be more efficient, even if your organization were doing the production.
It does not have to be pointed out that the more information your organization receives about budgeting, the better it would be, because then there would be no surprises. The more efficient your budgeting is, the more money an organization will3D CAD modeling and skills provided at Cad Crowd will make your production chain smooth and cost-effective. 3D CAD modeling and skills provided at Cad Crowd have already justified itself on visualization, accuracy, collaboration, rapid iteration, and cost savings.
But there’s more, as your business adopts this giant as a step within your production chain, you will reap more and more benefits. Your overall production chain will be smooth and cost-effective, and your entire staff will benefit. And as your creative staff people will no longer be working on guesses and old ways, creativity will bloom and surprise even the most seasoned and experienced executives.
A source of competitive advantage in turbulent markets
Fast-tracking business operations promotes value innovation and productivity. Delays caused by developments will be missed opportunities. Unproductive business operations will result in frustrated customers. At some point, there will be no business growth. Accuracy obtained from 3D rendering design services and modeling translates to good business as it boosts productivity and accuracy.
When your business presents clean graphics at an early stage, they appreciate it. When your models fit and work as they should, they appreciate it. When your employees express an idea not only clearly but also professionally, they appreciate it. It is because of these factors that your reputation will be made and your business will be honored among your competitors who engage in taking corners with wrong methods.
Effective 3D CAD modeling brings enormous opportunities for you, and you can be bolder without fear. Those designs that were hard for you to do are accomplished with the help of efficient modeling tools. It will be easy for you to get creative. It will be easy for you to enter new markets without taking any risk. Your business will be able to undertake projects that were hard for you.
This advantage will be made even better as your company will make use of freelance modelers from Cad Crowd. You will eventually get talent from all around the world without any commitment to be made. You will be more flexible and will scale at a very rapid rate as opportunities arise for you, and, hence, make sure your business is ready and up-to-date.
Higher accuracy levels in prototyping, thus fewer trial and error experiments
And then, of course, there’s the entertaining bit: your idea realized as a three-dimensional model. But it can be frustrating if there are discrepancies in your designs or if your designs aren’t assembled properly. A small mistake on your three-dimensional model, and before you know it, you have an issue on your hands with your prototype and need to fix it with the product engineering expert. It becomes a defect, and an error becomes a costly correction.
By using 3D CAD modeling, all these problems are removed and maintained at as low a level as possible. It allows creating a prototype that is similar to the actual thing. All specifications relating to size are correct. Components are in the correct places. So, it becomes an exact representation of an actual product.
It will result in an efficient process as regards two parameters: first, there will be fewer prototypes because error correction will be carried out digitally and not physically, and second, there will be more relevant testing on these prototypes because they will no longer be restricted to geometry testing. You will be able to test functionality as opposed to correcting errors.
These are some processes that require very detailed digital modeling. These processes are 3D printing, CNC machining, vacuum forming, and injection molding. The more detailed the design of a product, the easier it becomes to turn it into a product. It truly becomes an extremely critical stage requiring very detailed 3D CAD modeling. Freelance CAD technologists on Cad Crowd will mostly have designs for making prototypes. The experts will make sure that your prototype will be successfully realized as an actual product, either as an idea model or as a functional unit.

At this year’s Google I/O conference, NVIDIA and Google Cloud are accelerating the work of more than 100,000 developers in the companies’ joint developer community, which provides curated learning paths, hands-on labs and events that help them build using the full-stack NVIDIA AI platform on Google Cloud.
Launched at Google I/O last year, the community brings together developers, data scientists and machine learning engineers who want to sharpen their AI skills on the latest NVIDIA and Google Cloud technologies.
New additions for the community are rolling out this year, including a learning path for using the JAX library on NVIDIA GPUs, a new NVIDIA Dynamo codelab focused on inference optimizations, as well as monthly developer livestreams.
Over the last year, the community has become a go‑to hub for AI builders using NVIDIA‑accelerated tools for data science and machine learning. The result has been production‑ready retrieval-augmented generation applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and instrumenting observability for agent workloads.
These AI builders are also experimenting with new large language model research and prototyping hybrid on‑premises and cloud inference for real‑world use cases like sports analytics and enterprise data pipelines.
Building With Google DeepMind’s Gemma, NVIDIA Nemotron and Open Frameworks
NVIDIA and Google Cloud are equipping developers with learning resources and hands-on labs that combine NVIDIA libraries, open models and tools with Google Cloud’s AI platform — so they can build optimized, production‑ready AI applications faster.
For example, developers can accelerate data science and analytics with the NVIDIA cuDF library in Google Colab Enterprise or Dataproc, or deploy multi-agent applications by combining Google DeepMind’s Gemma 4 models, NVIDIA Nemotron open models and Google Agent Development Kit with Google Cloud G4 VMs powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs in Google Cloud Run or with spot instances.
NVIDIA and Google Cloud work closely across open frameworks like JAXso developers can build, scale and productize JAX workloads on NVIDIA AI infrastructure on Google Cloud — from single‑GPU experiments to multi‑rack deployments — while getting strong performance and a consistent experience.
This work extends to Google Cloud AI Hypercomputer, where the MaxText framework uses these JAX optimizations to train large models efficiently on NVIDIA GPUs.
Building on the same foundation, NVIDIA Dynamo on GKE helps developers optimize large-scale inference — including mixture-of-experts models — so they can serve AI applications more efficiently with NVIDIA accelerated infrastructure on Google Cloud.
To help developers get hands-on with these capabilities, a new learning path on running and scaling JAX on NVIDIA GPUs and a new NVIDIA Dynamo on GKE inference codelab will become available next month for members in the Google Cloud and NVIDIA developer community.
Advancing Responsible AI With Google DeepMind’s SynthID and NVIDIA Cosmos
AI agents are increasingly built from a system of AI models — combining proprietary and open source models that reason, plan and act on users’ behalf.
Amid this shift, trust and transparency are foundational, so developers and organizations can understand how these systems work and what they generate.
NVIDIA was the first industry partner to collaborate with Google DeepMind on SynthID, an AI watermarking technology that embeds robust digital watermarks directly into AI‑generated content, which helps preserve the integrity of outputs from NVIDIA Cosmos world foundation models available on build.nvidia.com.
Cosmos models provide rich 3D perception and simulation capabilities for robots, autonomous machines and other physical AI systems, while SynthID brings content transparency to the imagery and video they rely on.
Together, they help preserve the integrity of AI‑generated content so developers can build and deploy agentic applications more responsibly across cloud, edge and real‑world environments.
Building on a Full-Stack NVIDIA and Google Cloud Platform
This year, Google I/O is putting the spotlight on new agentic experiences and tools for developers — and NVIDIA and Google Cloud are focused on ensuring builders have the infrastructure, software and learning resources they need to make the most of them.
For developers in the community building on NVIDIA and Google Cloud, the skills and tools they learn can scale, effortlessly taking projects from prototype to enterprise‑grade workloads.
At Google Cloud Next, Google Cloud and NVIDIA expanded their full‑stack platform to help developers train, deploy and operationalize agents on Google Cloud. This collaboration includes work on NVIDIA Vera Rubin-powered A5X instances, Google DeepMind Gemini models and more, and is being harnessed by leading AI labs and enterprises including OpenAI, Thinking Machine Labs, Schrodinger, Salesforce, Snap and Crowdstrike.
