Apple has sent the invites for its in-person WWDC 2025 festivities on Monday, June 9, featuring the keynote session at 1PM ET/10AM PT. Attendees will be able to watch the keynote presentation at the company’s Cupertino campus, as well as meet with developers and participating in special activities. For everyone who hasn’t received an invite to Apple Park, the keynote will stream online. Developers can also participate in the rest of WWDC’s programming online for free.
We’ve already got pretty high hopes for the keynote announcements, with a lot of potential news expected about the upcoming redesign for iOS 19. We’ve heard that the operating system could have features including AI-powered battery management and improved public Wi-Fi sign ins, and our own Nathan Ingraham has penned an impassioned plea for a normal letter “a” in the Notes app. The full WWDC conference runs from June 9-13.

Nintendo hired Samsung to build the main chips for the Switch 2, including an 8-nanometer processor custom designed by NVIDIA, Bloomberg reported. That would mark a move by Nintendo away from TSMC, which manufactured the chipset for the original 2017 Switch. Nintendo had no comment, saying it doesn’t disclose its suppliers. Samsung and NVIDIA also declined to discuss the matter.
Samsung has previously supplied Nintendo with flash memory and displays, but building the Switch 2’s processor would be a rare win for the company’s contract chip division. Samsung can reportedly build enough chips to allow Nintendo to ship 20 million or more Switch 2s by March of 2026.
NVIDIA’s new chipset was reportedly optimized for Samsung’s, rather than TSMC’s manufacturing process. Using Samsung also means that Nintendo won’t be competing with Apple and others for TSMC’s resources. During Nintendo’s latest earnings call, President Shuntaro Furukawa’s said that the company didn’t expect any component shortages with its new console — an issue that plagued the original Switch.
Nintendo said in the same earnings report that it was caught by surprise with 2.2 million applications for Switch 2 pre-orders in Japan alone. Despite that, the company projected sales of 15 million Switch 2 units in its first year on sale to March 2026, fewer than analyst predictions of 16.8 million — likely due to the impact of Trump‘s tariffs.

Danganronpa is a chaotic but well-written murder mystery visual novel. It has interesting characters, a bit of humor, a bit of mystery to the story together with absurdity and twists and turns. The story really makes you want to keep going and unravel the mystery. You can actually spend some time and get to know your fellow students, which I love. The investigating is my favourite part of the game, where you explore the school and find clues. The trials have minigames, but some feel a bit too cluttered with a lot of mechanics pushed into it. But it’s still a fun gameplay loop.

One of the most popular Nintendo Switch and PC controllers sold by Amazon is on sale for a great price. The ManbaOne Wireless Controller, which released in March 2024, is up for grabs for $56 (was $70). This matches the lowest price yet for this pro-style controller with a built-in miniature display. Yes, the ManbaOne has a terrible name, but it’s a pretty awesome controller that impressed us when we tested it last year. The white model shown below is eligible for the 20% discount, while the black version is slightly more expensive at $60.
The ManbaOne Wireless Controller has some nice features at this price point. Naturally, the main attraction is a built-in two-inch display, which lets you quickly change settings without the need for an app or additional software. Beyond that standout feature, the ManbaOne has many of the same customizable features found in other pro-style controllers.
That means you’ll find four remappable back buttons, premium Hall Effect analog sticks to prevent drift, trigger locks for faster actuation, and a fully customizable RGB lightbar on its side. Toss in a turbo setting and six-axis gyro support, and you’ve got a controller that’s fairly well-equipped for less than $60. As a bonus, the ManbaOne comes with a matching charging dock and a set of interchangeable thumbsticks.
The white model has a bit more of a mechanical appearance, as it shows off various components underneath the faceplate, while the black model is closer to what you’d expect a traditional controller to look like.
If you’re wondering whether the ManbaOne will work with Nintendo Switch 2, it’s not clear at this point. Although many Nintendo Switch controllers are expected to work just fine on Nintendo’s new console, the safe bets are controllers designed for Bluetooth wireless connections. Though the ManbaOne technically has Bluetooth for PC and mobile, the manufacturer recommends using the USB receiver for the best experience. Whether or the dongle will work with Switch 2 remains to be seen.
If you’re looking for pro-style controller in this price range that is expected to work with Switch 2, the recently released 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth is a great choice. It doesn’t have a built-in screen, but it does have four remappable buttons, TMR electromagnetic analog sticks, trigger locks, superb customization software, RGB lighting rings, and excellent ergonomics. It comes with a matching charging dock and supports both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz Wireless with the included USB-C dongle on Switch and PC. The white model is on sale for $63 (was $70), but the black model is full price at the moment.

There’s a reason many of us writers refer to our projects as our “babies.” We’ve spent days, months, or even years nurturing the idea and breathing life into every sentence.
After that intimate and solitary process, it can be nerve-wracking to ask others for feedback.
Even when we’re less invested in a project — say, a quick blog post for a client — it can still sting to receive criticism.
Although feedback is incredibly valuable, I still find this part of the writing process to be terrifying whether I’m writing an article for a client or sharing my novel with a beta reader.
Most writers will have to deal with negative feedback about their work throughout their careers, and that’s a good thing! Hearing thoughtful criticism on your work is what helps you learn how to become a better writer — but only if you’re receptive to it.
First things first: Change your mindset
Before you receive your next round of criticism, practice thinking of feedback as a gift.
When someone takes the time to read your work and provide thoughtful feedback, they’re giving you something valuable: their perspective. This perspective can help you see blind spots in your writing and improve your craft.
1. Separate yourself from your writing
One of the hardest things about receiving criticism is not taking it personally. Remember that feedback on your writing is not feedback on you as a person.
When someone critiques your work, they’re evaluating the words on the page, not your worth as a human being or even your overall ability as a writer.
2. Listen actively without defending
When receiving feedback, your first instinct might be to explain why you made certain choices or to defend your work. Resist this urge.
Instead, listen actively to what the person is saying. Take notes if necessary. Ask clarifying questions to make sure you understand their perspective, but avoid justifying your choices during this initial conversation.
3. Filter feedback appropriately
Not all criticism is created equal. Learn to distinguish between constructive feedback that can help you improve and unhelpful criticism that’s best ignored.
Constructive feedback is specific, actionable, and focused on the work itself. Unhelpful criticism tends to be vague, personal, or based on subjective preferences that don’t align with your goals.
4. Use criticism as an opportunity
The most successful writers view criticism as a chance to grow. When you receive feedback, ask yourself: “What can I learn from this? How can this help me become a better writer?”
Even if you disagree with some of the feedback, there’s usually something valuable you can take away from it. Look for patterns in the criticism you receive — if multiple people point out the same issue, it’s probably worth addressing.
Remember
Learning to handle criticism gracefully is an essential skill for any writer. By changing your mindset, separating yourself from your work, listening actively, filtering feedback appropriately, and using criticism as a learning opportunity, you’ll not only become more resilient but also a better writer.
The next time you receive feedback on your writing, take a deep breath and remember: this is how you grow. Embrace the process, and watch your writing improve.

For those who may not be familiar, Sony’s Bravia 8 II is the company’s latest flagship TV, delivering an outstanding visual experience. Thanks to its Quantum Dot panel, it can output “billions of accurate real-world colors” and supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and IMAX Enhanced.
Immersive audio is also a part of the package. Acoustic Surface Audio Plus will envelop owners in a bubble of sound. Voice Zoom 3 cuts through bad audio mixing, so you’ll be able to hear dialogue clearly.
What makes this Bravia model stand out is its XR Processor. This chip harnesses an “AI-scene recognition system that detects the type of content you’re watching and [upscales the output] accordingly.” It makes older movies “appear more vivid and dynamic”. How I rated this deal

A rather sensational YouTube video appears to have set off a mild Steam review bombing directed at the Borderlands series.
In March, Borderlands YouTuber Hellfire posted a video called “Take Two Spies on Borderlands Players,” and in it they highlight the differences between the game’s original end-user licensing agreements and the new one Take-Two applied to it, which it applies to all of its games.
We should all be vigilant about what’s in the EULAs we agree to for our games, as they can contain genuinely objectionable stipulations, but it’s also true that the internet has a habit of overreacting to normal terms and conditions. Hellfire spends the bulk of the 16-minute video pointing out things that aren’t actually as damning as they seem to think they are.
One of Hellfire’s big gripes is that the Take-Two EULA gives the company access to information like your name, username, phone number, IP address, and operating system. This would only be odd if you didn’t already hand it that info when you sign up for a Shift account to redeem codes—Take-Two is just listing the information we provide to it, plus information it collects from our browsers. Every website known to man knows this stuff.
The second big point from Hellfire’s video is about using mods and cheats. Take-Two’s EULA has a clause that states that you can’t “use exploits of illegal or unauthorized means to interfere with or adversely impact any other user’s ability to use the Servers as intended,” which Hellfire claims is bad news for modders all around.
The clause could hypothetically be used to crack down on regular modders, but it seems premature to assume it will be, as the whole section is about interfering with other players and ruining their experience with the game while you’re playing online or using cheats to access things like DLC that you don’t own.
There’s a chance you could get into trouble if you play online with mods, but nothing about this change suggests that Gearbox or Take-Two will suddenly be on the hunt for people using mods or cheats harmlessly, or that its policies have changed. (Take-Two has always had a somewhat uneasy relationship with GTA modders.)

The review bombing started when Hellfire released a second video about the topic in April that blew up and received almost 500K views, although it isn’t any more convincing than the first video . You can actually see in the recent reviews graphs for each game that the bulk of its negative reviews that cite the EULA changes as their reasoning happened around the release of the video and have since fallen off in the last month.
So what we have is a misleading YouTube video prompting fans to play a game of telephone about the changes to the EULA over Reddit and forum threads, and a bout of short-lived Steam review bombing that hasn’t accomplished much of anything.
There are also claims going around that Take-Two is doing all of this because it will implement kernel-level anticheat software into the games—or maybe just Borderlands 4—and will use that anticheat system to steal personal information from its players. The publisher hasn’t introduced kernel-level anticheat to any of the games, and if it did, there’s nothing to indicate that it would use that anticheat software to steal information from users. There are reasons to be wary of kernel-level anticheat, which is used by other big developers, including EA, Riot, and Activision Blizzard, but Randy Pitchford stealing your Netflix password is not one of them. (The big concern is what would happen if one were compromised.)
It’s healthy to be skeptical of the terms offered by big companies like Take-Two, but it isn’t clear what the objections are in this case. It’s a reminder that Steam review bombing can be used for good just as easily as it can be used for… whatever this was.
